Emergency Dentistry
In pain right now? Call us: 425.643.5778
We reserve same-day openings specifically for dental emergencies. You don't have to wait days for relief.
When you call, here's what happens:
• We get you in as quickly as possible, often the same day
• We focus on stopping your pain first
• We diagnose the problem and explain exactly what's going on
• We walk you through your treatment options with no pressure
Whether it's a cracked tooth, a throbbing toothache, a lost filling, swelling, or an infection, we have the expertise and equipment to handle it, including same-day crowns, root canals, extractions, and emergency restorations.
Dental emergencies are stressful. Finding the right care shouldn't be. Call us and we'll take it from here.

Root Canals
When infection or deep decay causes severe tooth pain, a root canal can provide fast relief and preserve your natural tooth. We remove the source of discomfort, clean the area thoroughly, and seal it to prevent future issues, all with your comfort in mind.

Extractions
If a tooth is too damaged or infected to be saved, a gentle extraction may be the best solution to protect your overall oral health. We make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible, with options for long-term tooth replacement if needed.

Same Day Crown
When a tooth is cracked, broken, or an existing crown falls off, quick treatment protects the tooth and relieves discomfort. With CEREC same-day technology, we can design, create, and place a custom porcelain crown in one visit, restoring strength, function, and appearance without a temporary crown or a second appointment.

Local Referrals
Dr. Bauer will assess what's going on and either treat it right away or stabilize the problem until definitive care can be completed. In the rare case that your situation needs a specialist, we'll refer you to someone local we trust and get you in without delay.
FAQ
Do you see dental emergencies the same day?
Yes. Call us at (425) 643-5778 as early as you can and we will work you into the schedule the same day whenever possible. We hold time for emergencies during business hours, Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 am.
What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe tooth pain, a knocked-out or broken tooth, uncontrolled bleeding, swelling in the face or jaw, or a lost crown or filling causing pain. If you are unsure, call and we will help you decide.
What should I do if a tooth gets knocked out?
Handle it by the crown, not the root. If it is clean, gently place it back in the socket, or keep it in milk, and call us immediately. Time matters; the first hour gives the best chance of saving the tooth.
I do not have insurance. Can I still be seen for an emergency?
Yes. We will diagnose the problem, get you out of pain, and give you a clear cost estimate before any treatment beyond the exam.
What if my emergency happens after hours or on a weekend?
Yes, we are available. Most of the time Dr. Bauer is reachable after hours. Our emergency voicemail lists his cell phone number, so patients have direct access to him. He can help you decide what to do and, when needed, come into the office for treatment. If he is unavailable, a local specialist we have a close working relationship with is available as backup.
