Cosmetic Dentistry
If something about your smile bothers you—whether it’s the color, the shape, a chip, a gap, or just the way it looks in photos—we can help you change that.
Cosmetic dentistry here isn’t cookie-cutter. Dr. Bauer is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Spear-trained, which means every treatment is designed with both aesthetics and function in mind. We don’t just make teeth look better—we make sure they work better, too.
Every plan starts with understanding what you want. Then we show you what’s possible.
Invisalign

Crooked, crowded, or gapped teeth don't require metal braces anymore. Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners that straighten your teeth gradually, and most people won't even notice you're wearing them.
Dr. Bauer has the advanced training and experience to handle complex cases, not just simple alignment. You'll get a customized treatment plan, regular check-ins, and results that are designed to last.
The aligners come out to eat and brush, fit comfortably, and most patients see visible changes within weeks.
Veneers

Veneers are for patients whose teeth are healthy but don’t look the way they want. Maybe they’re worn, chipped, uneven, or just not the shade you’d like. Ultra-thin porcelain shells are custom-designed to cover those imperfections and give you a smile that looks natural and balanced.
We use only the highest-grade porcelain—it resists staining, wears like real enamel, and lasts significantly longer than composite bonding. It’s a larger investment upfront, but for most patients, it’s the more cost-effective solution over time because you’re not replacing or repairing it every few years.
Dr. Bauer designs each case individually. This isn’t about giving everyone the same look—it’s about giving you your best look.
Composite Bonding

If you have a small chip, a gap, or a tooth that’s slightly uneven, composite bonding can fix it—usually in a single visit with little to no drilling.
Dr. Bauer uses tooth-colored resin that’s carefully shaped and polished to blend with your natural teeth. It’s one of the most conservative cosmetic options available because we’re adding material, not removing tooth structure.
It’s fast, affordable, and for the right situation, it makes a real difference. We’ll tell you if bonding is the right fit—or if veneers would give you a longer-lasting result.
Whitening

Staining from coffee, wine, aging, or medications is one of the most common things patients ask us about—and professional whitening delivers results that store-bought strips simply can’t match.
We use the Opalescence system, which includes built-in potassium nitrate and fluoride to protect your enamel and minimize sensitivity. Two options:
Custom trays — We take impressions, make trays that fit your teeth precisely, and give you professional-grade gel to use at home. Consistent, even results.
Opalescence Go — Pre-filled trays you can use right out of the package. No impressions needed. Great for touch-ups or if you want fast results with zero hassle.
Either way, you’re getting a noticeably brighter smile that’s safe for your teeth. We’ll help you choose the option that fits your situation.
3D printed Veneers & Crowns

We’ve invested in 3D printing technology because it gives you a better result in less time. Instead of traditional impressions and lab turnarounds, we digitally scan your teeth and design your restoration on-screen—then print it with precision that manual methods can’t match.
The fit is more accurate. The turnaround is faster. And because everything is done digitally, Dr. Bauer can fine-tune the design before anything is fabricated, so the final product is exactly right.
Whether it’s a crown, a veneer, or part of a larger restoration plan, 3D printing means fewer appointments, less chair time, and a result that fits your smile perfectly.
Tooth-Colored Restorations

Tooth-colored restorations offer a natural-looking, durable solution for repairing decayed, damaged, or worn teeth. At Family Dental Care of Bellevue, we use high-quality composite resin and ceramic materials that blend seamlessly with your natural tooth structure. These restorations are not only aesthetically pleasing but also bond directly to the tooth, helping to preserve more healthy structure and strengthen the tooth overall.
Using advanced CEREC or 3D printing technology, we can create custom porcelain inlays, onlays, and crowns in a single visit. Whether you need a small filling or a full crown, tooth-colored restorations provide a conservative, long-lasting, and beautiful result that supports both function and appearance. Dr. Bauer is dedicated to using the latest materials and techniques to deliver restorations that enhance your smile while maintaining optimal oral health.
